It’s important to be proactive instead of reactive.
From their first visit, and throughout their entire life, we want to make sure your pet’s health is in order, and that they’re on the right track for continued health. Seeing your pet at least once a year (or twice a year if they are over seven years old) is the key to that longevity of life. Pets age much more quickly than we do so getting them checked regularly by a veterinarian is the foundation of good health. The earlier we can detect problems, the easier it is to diagnose and manage in the long run.
At your pet’s annual wellness exam, the doctor will give your pet a thorough nose to tail inspection to note any changes or abnormalities. You and your pet’s lifestyle will be discussed so we can get to know the both of you and create a tailored vaccination recommendation just for them. Parasite prevention and nutritional or weight management recommendations will be made as well.
